I've just been reading the blog of an experienced science teacher and he is voicing similar exhaustion to that which you describe. I was an NQT last year so know how you're feeling. Depending on what sort of school you're in the kids will probably be really well behaved this first week so make the most of it and make sure you really bollock them if they step out of line by the tiniest amount!&lt;br&gt;
